In its constant endeavor to be a Centre for Excellence in Eyecare, Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya has at its disposal, one of the best and state-of-the-art Laboratory in the entire North East, that offers a wide array of services to the patients of the Hospital. The Laboratory is an NABL accredited Laboratory and supported by a highly trained and professional team, the department is also involved in active Research work through Grants from various Government Agencies. The Laboratory provides services to all categories of patients.

Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya has always ensured that the highest standards of service are maintained at all times without compromise.
The Department of Laboratory Services at Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya is an NABL Accredited Laboratory and as such, it participates in various Inter Laboratory Comparision (ILC) tests for this purpose. Moreover, the Department also participates in various External Quality Assessment Schemes (EQAS) and Proficiency Testing (PT).
