Except emergencies, all patients are examined as per prefixed appointment. The appointment can be fixed by Postal correspondence, in person, through a representative, e-mail or by telephone or by walk-in. All are requested to fill the application form for appointment properly and all medical reports/referral notes if any are to be attached. The appointment will be fixed with the specialist doctor depending upon the nature of your eye ailment by the hospital reception. It may not be possible to fix your appointment with the doctor of your preference as you have desired, the particular doctor may not be a super specialist for your eye problem or he may be preoccupied with other patients. It is also advisable to fix date for physical examinations, laboratory tests, admission and surgery. Registered patients are advised to seek appointments with their consultant well in advance as he may have commitments with other patients for the next 2 months. For every postal correspondence please enclose self addressed stamped envelope for reply. The out patients timing is from 8 AM to 5:30 PM daily. The hospital remains closed on Sundays and public holidays except for emergency.

The hospital also offers evening OPD facilities from 5 PM to 8 PM on all working days.
